VBAS Open Matches Every Saturday - Cricket Ground Pool - £7 entry - 8am Draw

Victoria & Biddulph Angling Society offer an impressive match schedule to both its members and non members. The matches are split into the following categories:-

Club Matches - The club matches are the matches run on non VBAS waters for only VBAS members. The match secretary of the club organises these matches and they are on a booking only basis. Details for booking can be found in your permits.

Junior Matches - The junior matches are run on VBAS waters (usually the Cricket Ground) for VBAS members although some junior open matches are run. These are run by our junior match secretaries, which are also fully trained and qualified angling coaches. These matches are run on a demand basis, meaning there is no set calendar. If any juniors are interested in fishing these matches please e-mail me and i'll pass on the message.

Open Matches - There are two different open matches run for the club on our waters. The first is the Saturday open. This is run on the Cricket Ground Pool (summer time) and the Macc. Canal (winter time). There is usually no booking in for this match, just turn up at the specified time (see pool side notice boards).

The second is the Tuesday Open. This is run on Victoria Pool on a Tuesday morning. However, booking is required for this match. E-mail me for contact details or see local newspapers or the Angling Times.

Outside Club Matches - Our waters are available for outside clubs to book. If you are a club looking to hire one of our waters for a match either contact the assistant match secretary or e-mail me and i'll pass your message on.
